D-Backs and Homecoming
I have a few things that I need to update so I thought that I would do a couple today and the rest later in the week and it wouldn't be so over whelming. I hate when I wait to long to do updates and then I to many to do at once. Well back at the end of August RME went to see the D-backs again. We always have a good time when we spent time as an office. I feel really lucky to have such a great job and great friends that I get to work with. To bad the D-back didn't make the playoffs. There is always next year. ( oh yeah I also got my braces off!!!!)

In Septmber my cousin Bo Mortensen came home from his mission and I was able to go the the airport and also make a trip to Snowflake to listen to him talk in church. Great job Bo! Welcome Home

Beijing 2008

Alright who is excited about the Olympics!!! - I AM!!!!
This week at work we have been talking about how much we are looking forward to watching. Jenny, Kim and I have been practicing our Olympic dismount. I am getting really good. Jenny really stepped it up on the Vault ( RUN Kimmy) and Kim well I have decided that she could have done just about anything. Seriously ask her to show you her discus throw. - love you girls :) GO USA!!!
BD

Breaking Dawn here. It has been a week since "the Book" came out and if any of you know me at all then you already know that I am already finished. I went to Walmart at 12:00am to get a head start. Yes I am a big nerd but I felt a lot less nerdy when my friend Ashley got there. (Thanks for standing in line with me Ash and Bryce we are not weird like all those girls.) I finished on Saturday night and I loved it. I do think that this book was a lot more adult then the other ones. Maybe it will be different when I actually have kids but I'm not sure that I will let my teenagers read it. Who knows maybe I will feel differently at that point.

Garrett and Adele

On June 14th I was able to go to Snowflake and celebrate my cousin Garrett's wedding. I was amazed to realize that he was old enough to get married not that he isn't mature enough but that enough time had passed for it to be possible. Time really does fly.

Garrett wanted a rice crispy treat wedding cake. My Aunt Wilda, cousin Penny and I all pitched in and I think that it turned out pretty good.

Garrett and Adele's new Puppy Reggie. Isn't he so cute!!

Cole did great in his little league game the day before the wedding. It was nice to take a break and take in some baseball!!

American Idol
Well I am going to admit to being a fan of American Idol. I try not to get to obsessed so I try not to watch until the top 24. This year I did really good so I had no idea who anyone was. Itwas kind a nice because usually I get sucked in but there "stories". So week one comes and I watch and I know that no one is going to believe me but I liked David Cook. Seriously he was my favorite, now don't get me wrong I also like little David A. and he sure does have an amazing voice so I was glad that it came down the them in the end. I was appalled but the comments on the last show and swore that if someone (the judges) didn't apologize to David Cook I would NEVER watch again. Good thing Simon (of all people - it should have been Randy) gave me an excuse to watch again next year.
