Christmas.

This year for Christmas I made all the girls at my office new aprons. It was alot of work but I have a great time doing it. Here is a picture of a few of them. Christmas came way to fast this year. I am going to have to spend some time the next few days to getting caught up on all that I haven't finished yet. Hope everyones holidays are happy.

Thanksgiving at the Cabin

This year my moms side of the family got together are my cousin cabin in Alpine, AZ for Thanksgiving. I didn't realize how badly that I need to get aways for a few days. I had planned on coming home on Saturday morning but ended up staying until the latest possible moment on Sunday. I was so nice to relax and visit with my family. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Wyatt and Garrett introduced me to the WII. We had a great time playing Mario Cart. Then late I was Bo gave me a guitar and I became a hero. My family loves playing games and so hours were spent in friendly competition. We did end up with a few inches of snow and a herd of elk came for a visit. Saturday we went to Show low and saw Twilight much to Cole's horror of being seen at a girly movie. I thought it was pretty good but the book is ALWAYS better then the movie. Thanks again to the Mortensens for letting me spend extra time away from work. It was just what I needed. Here are some pictures but just know that there are no beauty contests being won were we are at the cabin.

Crazy Wedding Plans

There were 4 girls at my office that were engagedat the same time. It is a time for alot of love. Leyla and Cody and Danie and Blair have already tied the knot. Congrats and best wishes to you both. Ashley and Bryce and Hollie and Tyler are up next. So colors, dresses, pictures, flowers and love are still the talk of the office. Here are two pictures that I took at Leyla's reception.

TDO

In September I went with my work to San Diego for a conference. We rented a house for all the 10 girls to stay in. The first night we had a big Barbecue and we played games. The next night we attended the TDO dinner and Jenny and Hollie were hypnotized it was the craziest thing I have ever seen. We had a good time for the long weekend and enjoy being together as an office staff. Here are a few pictures

Guilty Pleasure

My latest love is Sprinkles. If you like cupcakes or cake you should try these, but if you love frosting these are a must have. It is a good thing that it is in Scottsdale or I would be 300 lbs. The Red Velvet and Strawberry are my favorites so far.

D-Backs and Homecoming

I have a few things that I need to update so I thought that I would do a couple today and the rest later in the week and it wouldn't be so over whelming. I hate when I wait to long to do updates and then I to many to do at once. Well back at the end of August RME went to see the D-backs again. We always have a good time when we spent time as an office. I feel really lucky to have such a great job and great friends that I get to work with. To bad the D-back didn't make the playoffs. There is always next year. ( oh yeah I also got my braces off!!!!)

In Septmber my cousin Bo Mortensen came home from his mission and I was able to go the the airport and also make a trip to Snowflake to listen to him talk in church. Great job Bo! Welcome Home

Beijing 2008

Alright who is excited about the Olympics!!! - I AM!!!!
This week at work we have been talking about how much we are looking forward to watching. Jenny, Kim and I have been practicing our Olympic dismount. I am getting really good. Jenny really stepped it up on the Vault ( RUN Kimmy) and Kim well I have decided that she could have done just about anything. Seriously ask her to show you her discus throw. - love you girls :) GO USA!!!

BD

Breaking Dawn here. It has been a week since "the Book" came out and if any of you know me at all then you already know that I am already finished. I went to Walmart at 12:00am to get a head start. Yes I am a big nerd but I felt a lot less nerdy when my friend Ashley got there. (Thanks for standing in line with me Ash and Bryce we are not weird like all those girls.) I finished on Saturday night and I loved it. I do think that this book was a lot more adult then the other ones. Maybe it will be different when I actually have kids but I'm not sure that I will let my teenagers read it. Who knows maybe I will feel differently at that point.

Katelyn

Welcome to the world baby Katelyn!! I got to go the the hospital and see this little angel. Congrats Scott and Cheryse she is such a beauty. I can't wait to help spoil her.

American Idol Tour
